'Wentworth' Season 5 Episode 3 Spoilers: Franky and Bridget Work Their Relationship Out; Liz Goes on to Stand Witness Against Sonia

"Wentworth" season 5 will be back Tuesday with a new episode titled "Nothing but the Truth," where Franky (Nicole da Silva) once again adjusts herself to life in prison.

Being back behind bars also meant reuniting with Bridget (Libby Tanner), but things definitely are not as rosy as they were in the past.

While "Wentworth" season 5, episode 3 will see the two work things out and keep their relationship together, the synopsis teases that it will be a serious struggle for them.

Franky is after Ferguson (Pamela Rabe), who she believes framed her for the murder of Mike Pennisi (Felix Williamson).

If The Freak really is the person responsible, she definitely made sure this scheme is airtight. Franky's DNA is all over the murder weapon and she was at his house not long before the murder occurred.

With everything pointing to her as the killer, Franky might be slowly easing herself back in prison come "Wentworth" season 5, episode 3 and focuses on getting things back on track with Bridget instead.

Meanwhile, even after letting the cat out of the bag about testifying against Sonia (Sigrid Thornton), Liz (Celia Ireland) set aside the doubts and goes on with it.

"Wentworth" season 5, episode 3 will see her stand as the mystery witness. However, speculations have it that her spilling the beans will have its repercussions.

Last week's "Wentworth" installment saw Liz tell Doreen (Shareena Clanton) about what she plans to do after she walks in on her rehearsing her lines.

However, with the uncertainty as to where Doreen's loyalty lies, her decision to tell her the truth about what she is up to might bite her back in "Wentworth" season 5, episode 3.

The previous episode also marked the end of the road for Maxine (Socratis Otto). In a Facebook Live, he thanked fans for the support and gushed about the experience.

"Wentworth as a whole, it's left such a gap in my world. It really deeply affected me because I played such a rare and significant creature like Maxine Conway," he explained.

"How do you say goodbye to someone who taught you so much? And also the fans who just embraced this show and have such an undying love for Wentworth, saying goodbye to them as well. It's a roller-coaster ride but I wish the success of the show to continue, and I have no doubt it will. I only hope it keeps pushing stereotypes and representing real people and real issues," he went on to say.

"Wentworth" season 5 airs every Tuesday at 8:30p.m. AEST on Foxtel.
