'Street Fighter 5' Roster – What Do Players Want from the Last 3 DLC Characters?
Expectations are High for Juri, Balrog and Urien
The last of the revealed "Street Fighter V" characters are set to be in the story mode with a limited move set, said lead designer for the game Peter "Combofiend" Rosas. These last three characters are Juri, Balrog and Urien.
Each character has a unique play style that fans of the series have grown to love, while that is also the case to most of the cast for any "Street Fighter" title, here is what fans want from the remaining DLC characters in "Street Fighter V."
Balrog
Balrog, or Boxer as he is known in Japan, is perhaps the longest-running character out of the three. He has been around since "Street Fighter II" and has possessed the same move set since that time.
Players will be looking to have his straight dash punches and mix-ups to return to the game as well as his impressive damage output. Balrog has always been a precise yet damaging character to use. His weakness has always come from his lack of kicks and limited move set.
Urien
Out of all the characters that were revealed to be in "Street Fighter V," Urien is, perhaps, the most popular, as his play style and story are very interesting.
Urien was last on the roster during the "Street Fighter III" series and since then became a player favorite due to his combo-inducing Aegis reflector as well as his move set that quickly damages the opponent while constantly putting him/her in a series of mix-ups and guesses.
Fans will want to see his multi-directional projectile return as well as Urien's damaging shoulder dashes. However, the biggest draw for Urien will be how his story from "Street Fighter III" fit into the "Street Fighter V." Also, fans are wondering if his brother Gill, who was the final boss of the "Street Fighter III games, will make an appearance.
Juri
Juri is the newest of the remaining DLC characters left for "Street Fighter V." Juri made her debut in "Street Fighter IV" where she made quite the impact on the fan base with her devastating Taekwondo-style kicks and her Feng Shui Engine combo system.
Fans of Juri like the contrasting style she has with long time "Street Fighter" character Chun Li. While both characters rely mostly on their kicks and fast attacks, Juri has always been considered a strike first type while Chun Li has always been a defensive counter striker.
Balrog is the next character set for a full DLC release in July. Juri and Urien will follow his release.
