What to expect from 'Longmire' season 4 this September 10!

With a lot of new and old series premiering this fall, the competition for the best drama series is always stiff. "Longmire," which was once been canceled by A&E last year, is back this month to prove that it is better than any crime drama series.

The series, which was based from Craig Johnson's bestselling crime thriller novels, will continue the story of Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), who'll come back to his role as the Absaroka County's Sheriff. This is after season 3's cliff-hanger ending, where Longmire gained knowledge on who murdered his wife. Based on the trailer that was just released, the sheriff is definitely seeking for vengeance in this upcoming season.

The trailer also shows the trouble between the U.S. authorities and the Native Americans, which will create conflict between Longmire and his friend Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Philips).

Among the other returning actors are Katee Sackoff (Victoria "Vic" Moretti) and Bailey Chase (Branch Conallly). Season 4 will also introduce a list of new characters and among them is Ally Walker, known for her role in "Sons of Anarchy."

At the last Television Critics Association early this year, the show's executive producer, Greer Shepard, said they will make sure that this season will feel more different from the last three. He told Deadline during the Longmire panel at the event that Netflix allowed his team to "Feel free to be more cinematic; don't make it like TV." The streaming website that picked up the show after it was canceled will showcase a 10-episode run of this critically acclaimed western drama series starting September 10.

Longmire season 4 will be available to Netflix subscribers in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Netflix is also currently streaming the past three seasons for those who missed it.
