What to expect in the 'Wonder Woman' movie in 2017?

Diana Prince, or more commonly known as the Wonder Woman, will have her first live-action film debut in the upcoming movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Fans of the warrior princess also cannot wait for her own solo film, the "Wonder Woman," which will be coming out on June 23, 2017.

Gal Gadot, the pageant queen-turned-actress, will start filming as Princess Diana this November in London. Fans are currently feasting some rumors about the casting of Wonder Woman's villains. Two of the worlds leading actors are now being eyed to play the Sorceress, Circe, and the God of War, Ares. According to a news that broke out in the Heroic Hollywood, the studio is eyeing to sign Eva Green to play Circe, and Sean Bean to play Ares.

Eva Green has a solid Hollywood résumé under her belt. The actress is famous for her role in "300: Rise of an Empire" and "Dark Shadows." In 300, fans saw Green's bad side, and Wonder Woman fans cannot wait for her to go on full battle mode against Gadot.

The studio also cannot go wrong if they are able to sign Sean Bean as Ares. Bean, who is known for his terrific performance in the "Game of Thrones" as Ned Stark, will be the perfect choice since he is no stranger in playing the role of a God. In "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," Bean played Zeus, the king of Gods. Although the role might sound as a demotion to Bean's previous role, fans would love to see him throw a constant war against Diana.

Wonder Woman's history is somewhat based on Greek Mythology since the superhero's race, the Amazons, was created by Aphrodite, who is a Greek goddess. According to Cinema Blend, the film will tackle Wonder Woman's origin.

The Wonder Woman will also be a part of the "Justice League" film in 2017.
