What to Get for Father's Day 2013? 5 Great Ideas for Gifts

Father's Day 2013 takes place Sunday, and families across the country will be looking to see how best to get dads something a little special.

Thousands will be worrying what to get fathers on this day, so if you are a little lost here are a few suggestions.

1) iPhone, iPad and MacBook accessories are always a good idea and any dad would love to receive accessories for their smartphone such as personalized iPhone cases. There are a host of personalization websites, but maker Zazzle will make one starting at $49.95.

2) If your father has an iPad or Android based tablet, then maybe a Logitech Tablet Keyboard could be a perfect gift. Tablets of course come with their own on screen keyboards that are fine for short emails or light typing work. But if you've noticed dad on his tablet for extended periods, or if he uses it for any kind of business work at all, then a proper keyboard is a must.

It comes in a carrying case that also works as a stand for your tablet or smartphone. The Logitech Tablet keyboard can be purchased online at Amazon for $49.39 for the iPad, or a cheaper version can be purchased if dad's tablet is Android based, in which case you can get one for just $39.66.

3) How about a device that charges Android devices, but also can work as a music player/clock – the iHome Android Clock. The convenient accessory can be purchased for $39.99 and after getting one you'll wonder why you didn't get one before.

4) The Nikon 1 J1 is the perfect gift if you wanted to get dad a good camera. It shoots full HD (1080p) movies and photos. It also has a range of lens options that features vibration reduction for sharper photos. This camera can be purchased for $649.

5) The co-founders of hook+Albert suggest getting your father a grooming kit. Sharper Image sells an old-fashioned men's shaving kit, with "modern blade technology" that uses Mach 3 blades, for $99.99.
