Masters 2017 TV Channel: Where to Watch Golf Tournament

One of the highly talked about golfing events, the Masters, is scheduled to take place this week. The Masters 2017 begins on Thursday, April 6 and ends on Sunday, April 9.

According to the tournament's official website, the Masters 2017 began on April 3, but the tournament itself does not take place until April 6. Practice rounds were held on April 3 and 4 and continued on April 5, along with a Par 3 contest. Round 1 begins on April 6, with rounds 2 and 3 following on April 7 and 8, before finally ending with round 4 on April 9.

Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the official start of the competition. This year, there are a lot of combinations to be excited about, but Golf Digest has their five best picks to pay closer attention to.

The first group consists of Jordan Spieth, Martin Kaymer and Matthew Fitzpatrick. Viewers will definitely want to watch Spieth, especially after last year's big disappointment. The second group consists of Brandt Snedeker, Justin Rose and Jason Day. And as the publication points out, all eyes will be on Day. Due to his mother's health, Day may find himself distracted on the course.

The third group consists of Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Shane Lowry, who all have a shot at the title. Garcia and Westwood probably want it more, though, since they have yet to win a major championship.

The fourth group consists of Rory McIlroy, Hideto Tanihara and Jon Rahm. Irish player McIlroy seems to be the favorite this year, and BBC thinks that he has a good chance of bringing home the title and achieving a Grand Slam. It remains to be seen, though, if he will deliver. Finally, the fifth group consists of Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker.

However, since the event is very exclusive and invitations are not given away freely, fans will have to watch the live coverage of the Masters 2017 either online or on the CBS Sports Network starting 9:00 a.m. EDT.
