Whitney Houston Found Dead in Beverly Hilton: Celebrities React on Twitter (VIDEO)

Celebrities have taken to Twitter to post their condolences following singer Whitney Houston's death Saturday. The Grammy award winning artists was found dead in a 4th floor Beverly Hilton Hotel room this afternoon.

It now appears that Dionne Warwick, her cousin, and Cissy Houston, her mother, have reported to TMZ that they spoke to her just 30 minutes before she died and at that time she seemed fine.

CNN has also reported that music mogul Simon Cowell told CNN's Piers Morgan that a meeting on Monday was going to discuss the possibility of Houston joining his program "X Factor" for its upcoming season.

Among the tweets from celebrities paying tribute to the New Jersey-born singer there are:

Jessica Simpson said, "I found my voice singing Whitney Houston's music. Today I lost my idol."

Nancy O'Dell has said, "Have interviewed so many musicians...Whitney Houston simply one of the most talented who ever lived. R.I.P. Whitney."

NJ. Mayor @CoryBooker said in a statement: "A legend has died...She went from a Newark church to the global stage."

Actor Matthew Broderick also added: "#RIPWhitney. You had the singing voice of an angel. You will be missed."

Miley Cyrus' father Billy Ray Cyrus said: "R. I. P. Whitney Houston. I will always love you and your music and talents will live on forever."
