Who Is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Baby Surrogate? Her Identity Is Known to Select Few

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have enlisted the help of a surrogate for their third baby. Many news outlets and paparazzi would love to find out who she is, but when it comes to these sort of things, there's a line that needs to be drawn.

Kanye and Kim are expecting, and there's a third party involved as well, as the couple confirms in an interview with People. The celebrity couple has asked for a woman to take on the pregnancy for them, and her decision to agree could have made her life more complicated than usual.

Stephanie Caballero, Surrogacy and Egg Donation legal counsel for The Surrogacy Law Center, could be one of the very few who are privy to the details of the surrogate's identity. There are several good reasons why they are keeping it a secret, as she reminded the International Business Times via email.

"Their surrogate is a private person who doesn't live behind big gates and doesn't have a security detail," Caballero explained, describing the surrogate as a simple, non-celebrity that " has never had 25 paparazzi following her and news vans parked outside her house."

Exposing her identity to the public will risk her and the baby's safety, as Caballero implied in her message. She then walls off any further inquiries on the surrogate's identity. "That woman deserves a private life and I hope she continues to have one for the remainder of the pregnancy and through the birth," she said.

News outlets like the Daily Mail, however, will not be foisted off so easily. The surrogate was reportedly spotted in Southern California on Tuesday, with what looks like a large baby bump.

Kim Kardashian was open enough to the idea of a surrogate mother carrying her baby, having learned much from her second pregnancy. She has been diagnosed to have Placenta Accreta, a dangerous condition for her should she conceive again.
