Who won the battle between Goku and Beerus in 'Dragon Ball Super?'

After a number of filler episodes, "Dragon Ball Super" finally got to show the much-awaited battle scene between Goku and Beerus in episode 10.

Episode 10, which is titled "Show me Goku! Super Saiyan God of Power," is dubbed by Attack of the Fanboy as "the best episode of the season so far."

From the first episode to the ninth, the story dragged on with a lot of time waster scenes and filler contents. Episode 9, for example, took 10 minutes just to show Goku becoming a Super Saiyan God. And with the latest episode, it finally got rid of all the extras, and went straight to the battle of Goku and Beerus. "It was just Beerus vs Super Saiyan God Goku from the get go. It is similar to episode 5, although the animation was far better here," the website said.

Anime fans also rejoiced because of the better animation in this episode, compared to the amateurish animation in the last episodes.

According to Yibada, the episode started with Super Saiyan God Goku trying to figure out his new powers, and getting accustomed to them. Whis also told the other Saiyans that they won't be able to get a sense of a Super Saiyan God's power levels. "Goku blasted a powerful Kamehameha on Beerus, however he could manage to beat it. During the battle, Goku did manage to injure Beerus," the website added.

The battle is being witnessed by the other fighters and Bulma in a ship in the sky. Episode 10 still showed Goku and Beerus feeling each other out. The two are expected to go all out in the next episode titled "Let's Keep Going Beerus-sama!"

It looks like the fight between the two will continue in the series since episode 12 and 13 are titled "The Universe Crumbles?! Clash! The God of Destruction vs Super Saiyan God," and "Goku, Go Surpass Super Saiyan God!" respectively.
