Wife of Former Justice of the Peace Arrested for Murders of Texas Officials
The wife of former Justice of the Peace Eric Williams has been arrested in connection with the murders of Texas officials. Kim Williams, 46, has been charged with one count of capital murder and is being held on $10 million bond.
Williams was arrested last night and booked just before 3:00 a.m. this morning, reports state. She and husband Eric are now both charged with the murders of Texas District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia, as well as Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse.
Eric Williams was arrested on Saturday after making terrorist threats while police searched his home. He is expected to be charged with capital murder in the deaths of the McLellands and Hasse and is currently being held on $3 million bond for the terrorist threat.

Eric was fired from his job as a Justice of the Peace after it was revealed that he stole computer monitors from the workplace. Both Hasse and McLelland were behind his prosecution and urged the judge in the case to send Williams to prison, Dallas News reported, but he was given probation.
Police believe that Eric harbored a grudge against the two and sought his revenge. Hasse was shot to death on Jan. 31 as he walked to the local courthouse where he worked, and the McLellands were shot in their home on March 30.
When police investigated the Williams' home, they found over 20 weapons and a car that matched the description witnesses said was outside the McLellands' home the night of the shooting. Eric has maintained his innocence throughout the entire ordeal, but is still expected to be charged with capital murder.
In Texas, capital murder is punishable by a lifetime in prison or the death penalty. Both Williams could face the death penalty if found guilty of capital murder. It's not known when both of them will be arraigned and charges announced by the State District Attorney.
