Will and Kate Doing 'Absolutely Brilliantly' as Parents, Kate's Uncle Says

William and Kate are doing "absolutely brilliantly," Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith recently said in an interview. His comments on the royal family described William and Kate's relationship as a "fairy tale" that has blessed the family.

"It's fabulous," Goldsmith said. "I couldn't be prouder of my family. It's been a fairy tale right from the beginning when Carole told me Kate was dating William, to seeing my little niece everywhere in the press and then to the wedding. And now there's a baby who's actually going to be the king."

The young couple recently moved to where William is employed as a Search and Rescue Pilot. Yet they will be moving once again when William's service is up and they can move into their residence at Kensington Palace. They have the full support of their families, and Kate's mother will actually have her own little apartment at Kensington in order to help with baby George.

"They're doing absolutely brilliantly," Goldsmith added. "Kate has her feet so solidly on the ground, and William knows his own mind. They will be absolutely perfect and are a proper couple who are madly in love. They'll be everywhere together. I don't think they will pass the responsibility of their babies to other people. They will be involved in everything George does, and you'll see them as a unit of three now rather than a unit of two."

Will and Kate have already broken several molds by taking their own family photos and releasing them to the public instead of using a professional, royal photographer. And they only have one nanny and a housekeeper helping them, instead of a full staff. They plan on keeping that the same when they move to Kensington Palace. And, of course, grandma Carole will be there to help.

Goldsmith also had a few words about his other niece, Pippa, and her relationship with Nico Jackson.

"It will be brilliant when Pippa gets married. It will happen one day," Goldsmith noted. "It's hard for anyone entering this family because you're going to be in the spotlight. So I imagine Pips and James will date for a while before they make the leap, simply out of courtesy for the other person to understand what it's like."
