Will Smith: My Marriage Died Countless Times Over Nearly Two Decades
Actor Will Smith has opened up about the longevity of his marriage, and how it "died" many times along the way.
Hollywood A-lister Will Smith has admitted his marriage was able to stand the test of time despite it having "died" several times. He said the key to a long lasting partnership is being willing to see the marriage through to its "rebirth" each time.
Smith, 46, who has been married to actress, Jada Pinkett-Smith, for close to two decades, revealed he and "The Matrix" actress have had their share of marital struggles through the years.

Despite having one of the longest and most successful partnerships in Hollywood, Smith revealed he had a rude awakening when he realized marriage wasn't all that he expected it to be.
"Whatever you have is gonna die and you are gonna have to rebirth something new. You have to be willing to ride the waves," Smith said in an interview with The Sun.
Jada Pinkett-Smith, who is vocal about holding her husband in high regard, shares Smith's marriage philosophy, as well. She told Net-a-Porter that she and her husband used to live by so many rules, but eventually decided to just go with the flow.
The 43-year-old "Magic Mike" actress further added that her husband encompasses all areas of her life, and she lives for him.
The two met in 1994 on the set of Smith's television series, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," began dating in 1995, and tied the knot in Pinkett-Smith's Baltimore, Maryland hometown in 1997.
Despite going through a number of rocky patches in both their careers and personal lives, the couple has exhibited the fortitude and the willingness to make suitable compromises in the midst of difficult situations.
The Smith couple share two children, Jaden, 16 and Willow, 14, who are also in the entertainment business. Smith has a son Trey, 23, from a previous marriage with actress and producer, Sheree Zampino.
