Willow Smith Defended by Will Smith's Ex Sheree Fletcher

Sheree Fletcher, the mother of Will Smith's first son, is defending the actor's 13-year-old daughter Willow Smith.

Fletcher is married to NFL player-turned-minister Terrell Fletcher, and she stars in the reality television series "Hollywood Exes." However, she did not shy away from defending Willow, who her son's father shares with fellow actress Jada Pinkett Smith.

Last month a picture of Willow seen lying in bed with a 20-year-old actor Moises Arias went viral. After the photograph made its way to Instagram, a number of people spoke out against the image.

News swirled about the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services has officially opened an investigation looking into the matter, according to Radar Online reports. However, Fletcher is opening up about a moment that she deemed innocent.

She insisted that the older boy featured with Willow was someone that she likened to be her brother.

"It's so funny because TMZ showed me the photo, I hadn't seen it. When I saw the photo I was like 'Omg, that's Moises, thats like her brother,'" Fletcher told thejasminebrand.com. "He's another part of the family, he's been around for years and years. I can see how the perception would be a little whoa, but that's family."

Jada Pinkett Smith did not hesitate to defend her own daughter publicly.

"Here's the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation," she told TMZ. "You guys are projecting your trash onto it, and you're acting like covert pedophiles, and that's not cool."

A source reportedly told TMZ why the Smith parents believe Willow is mature enough to make her own decisions.

"Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith believe their daughter is 'very mature' ... enough so to make her own decisions, as long as they don't clearly cross the line," a source reportedly told TMZ last month. "Bottom line … Will and Jada have NO issue with the pic."
