'Wolverine' - Hugh Jackman shared details about the final movie

It was revealed that Hugh Jackman will be featured in another "Wolverine" film.

According to the Sydney Confidential podcast, Jackman shared hints about the final Wolverine movie. He shared that the film could cover two ideas. First, according to Jackman, there is a possibility of Victor Creed's return. This means that Wolverine's arch-nemesis Sabretooth might return for the final film. Sabretooth was seen in previous "X-Men" films such as "X-Men" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." However, the character was portrayed by Tyler Mane and Liev Schreiber.

His second hint was when he mentioned "berserker rage." Avid comic book fans understand that the term refers to something that has not yet been seen in the movie portrayals of Wolverine. It is when Wolverine becomes more animalistic and releases a violent and dangerous creature, which will be a danger to everyone.

In addition, the upcoming film's storyline is expected to be closer to the comic book "Old Man Logan." This will see an older version of the character battling against a world under the control of supervillains during an apocalyptic setting. It is written by Mark Millar and drawn by Steve McNiven.

Patrick Stewart, the actor who plays Professor Xavier, also revealed details on the film, as reported by Collider. He shared his enthusiasm concerning the upcoming portrayal of Wolverine. Stewart said, "There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me. And the idea of an old Wolverine — I'm really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great. So I'm hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he'll make me look better if that's the case."

The upcoming installment of the Wolverine franchise is expected to release on Mar. 3, 2017.
