Woman Glued to Toilet Seat at Home Depot; Police Investigating Prank (VIDEO)

A woman using the public restroom at a Home Depot in Georgia found herself in a rather sticky situation after figuring out that she had sat in superglue and required medical assistance to get free from the seat.

Ilyanna De La Keur, 40, was simply minding her own business when she became subject to a cruel prank. De La Keur realized she could not get off the toilet seat due to a very powerful adherent; it took nearly 25 minutes for someone to discover De La Keur in the restroom and call for help. Paramedics responded and unhinged the seat, which was still stuck to her skin. They then used WD-40 to break the seal between seat and skin and took her to the hospital.

Unfortunately, De La Keur was injured in the ordeal; she lost skin to the glue and told the press that she cannot sit down and has problems standing. Her sister videotaped the entire ordeal, and police are hoping that they will be able to track down the perpetrator, who did not just cover one seat in glue but three. Mary Dean, the manager of the Home Depot, said that she found a brown paper bag with a bottle of glue inside in the bathroom. It could prove to be a vital clue for investigators.

De La Keur was upset not only at the physical pain caused her by the situation, but also at the seeming lack of respect shown by the first responders who helped free her. She told WSB-TV that she couldn't understand why they didn't take her to the hospital and remove the seat there, where she would have had privacy instead of remaining in the store and removing it there.

Right now De La Keur has no plans to sue Home Depot; she merely wants to recover and hopefully receive an apology from the person who put glue on the seat in the first place.
