Women's Basketball Final Live Stream: Watch Online USA vs. France at London 2012 Olympics (Tip Off 4PM)

The women's basketball final, USA vs. France, takes place at the London 2012 Olympics on Saturday. Tip off is at 4 p.m. ET and all the action can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Team USA are hot favorites to win this game against France, although France are undefeated going into this final. However, Team USA are coming into the game having won 40 games on the trot at the Olympics in a run going back 20 years. They have already won the past four women's Olympic basketball tournaments, and are attempting to make it five gold medals in this event in a row.

However, France will be hoping to cause an upset and have shown some good form coming into the final. They have come through some tight games and have not lost yet in the tournament. France does have a number of useful players who, if Team USA lack concentration, can punish them on the scoreboard.

Team USA though are in electric form, have won their games by an average of 34 points in London. They have class all over the court, and boast an explosive attack as well as an efficient defense that will be tough for France to overcome.

Most neutral fans will be hoping for a close contest and France do have enough quality in their side to cause more than a few problems for their American opponents. If Team USA think they can just show up to claim the gold medal then the French may be able to cause a massive upset. However, until now the U.S. women's basketball side has been ruthlessly efficient, and if they continue on that run it is hard to see how France will be able to overcome them.
