'World of Final Fantasy' News: Patch 1.03 To Be Released March 23, Will Add Features That Can Speed Up Battles

'Champion Summon: Balthier' DLC will also be released for 'World of Final Fantasy' on March 23

Patch 1.03 is set to be released for "World of Final Fantasy" on March 23, and it contains some features that can make going through battles faster than before.

Developers announced the features of the new patch over on Twitter, and Gematsu has also translated the tweet, highlighting the notable changes it brings to the game.

First off, players will soon be able to utilize a Skip function for certain battle events. With this function added, players can now bypass the Champion and Mega Mirage summoning scenes by simply pressing the circle button.

The game's ATB bar has also been tweaked in the patch, and players will soon find that they are now allowed to assign commands to their controlled characters faster than they were previously able to.

There is also a new Fast Forward option that has been added to the Settings menu, and this is something players can tinker with if they want battles and events to progress quicker.

With Patch 1.03 installed, "World of Final Fantasy" players will also notice that their HP and AP gauges will recover when they interact with save points, gates and even when they save at the end of chapters.

A Random option for selecting BGM and the tracks for Sephiroth, Sora and Balthier have been added as well, though these are only accessible if players also possess their Champion Medals.

Speaking of Balthier, players will be able to download him as a Champion Summon for the game also on March 23.

A previously released trailer gives players an early look at how Balthier looks inside the game and what attack he will be using to devastate opponents.
