'World of Tanks' coming to PS4, new contents included
An exciting and good news for all PS4 gamers. The massively multiplayer online game "World of Tanks" is coming to the Sony console. After being available on PC, Xbox, and mobile platforms, TJ Wagner, project lead on the PS4 version, said in his PlayStation blog post that they are now working on "tuning the experience specifically" for Sony's console.
The game has over 150 million registered players and it will be coming to PS4, supporting Dual Shock controllers, Share Play, Vita Remote Play and all the features players can expect. The game will be accessible to anyone who is interested as a PS Plus membership is not necessary to have in order to play. "World of Tanks" on PS4 is free-to-play for all PlayStation Network account holders.
As detailed in Wagner's post, there will be more than 350 tanks across seven nations that players can choose and collect from. There will be also five various classes of tanks that will let player choose the style of play they want best. Aside from that, "hot heavy metal action" can be found.
Furthermore, IGN noted that there will be two new maps that will be exclusive to PS4 users but it will only be available for a limited time. For those who will be playing as PS Plus members, they will have the benefit of unlocking a free premium tank, an exclusive camouflage, three days of Premium account time and last but not the least, discounts upon availing. The team behind the game are also happy to announce to their fans that they will including in their release an exclusive Girls und Panzer content and themes at launch.
At this point, there is still no announcement regarding the release date of the game to the said console. But interested gamers can take part in the upcoming beta by registering. It will be up in the coming months and those who join will get special beta awards for participating.
