'World of Warcraft' News: Patch 7.2 PTR to Feature Dalaran as a Free-For-All PvP Zone

All 'World of Warcraft' players and NPCs in Dalaran can be attacked during the upcoming PTR event

"World of Warcraft" players will be treated to a special event inside the game soon, as one of its more memorable locations is set to be turned into one big battleground.

In a recent post on the game's official forums, community manager "Lore" detailed an upcoming Patch 7.2 Public Test Realm event, revealing that it will involve all kinds of chaos as well as the location known as Dalaran.

To be more specific, Dalaran will soon be turned into a free-for-all PvP zone. What this means is that players who participate in this upcoming event will be able to essentially do all kinds of things to the residents of Dalaran.

It's not just players who will be attacking each other as even the non-player characters situated in this location can get involved in all the chaos.

Players are also incentivized to attack and take out as many of their fellow players as they possibly can, especially since each successful elimination will grant damage and health bonuses.

For players wondering why this kind of event is taking place inside "World of Warcraft's" PTR, the community manager noted that this will serve as a kind of stress test for some of the new features that are also being added to the game as part of Patch 7.2.

Numerous players are also being encouraged to take part in the upcoming event, so that the new features can really be put to the test.

Players interested in taking part in this rare event are urged to have the PTR downloaded and their characters copied even before all the madness begins.

The event itself will begin at 3 p.m. Pacific Time, March 10, and will wrap up a few hours later at 5 p.m., so players will want to be ready as soon as possible.

More news about "World of Warcraft" should be made available soon.
