WrestleMania 33 Matches: John Cena and Nikki Bella to Face The Miz and Maryze

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is pitting John Cena and Nikki Bella against The Miz and Maryze for a WrestleMania 33 fight. While wrestling enthusiasts who witnessed the terrible fight between Cena and The Miz at WrestleMania 27 six years ago may not be thrilled about the upcoming faceoff, fans can expect things to be a lot different this year.

As noted by Forbes, Wrestle Mania has grown into a pop culture extravaganza that is worth as much as $180 million. Through the years, the event has featured feuds that have major appeal to fans.

In the recent years, Cena has transitioned to a part-time role and is set to take another lengthy hiatus after WrestleMania 33. WWE reportedly sees the fighter's rumored mixed tag team match as one that couldn't appeal any less to fans, especially now that Big Show's previously announced match with Shaquille O'Neal has already been cancelled.

The upcoming match between the two pairs will not only feature the most marketable stars of the WWE but will also capitalize on various demographics. Cena and Nikki's reality show, "Total Bellas," has just been renewed for another season due to its high viewership, telling a lot about the public's high level of interest in the two fighters.

Meanwhile, Cena was recently interviewed about his current feud with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his upcoming match at the WrestleMania 33. Speaking about his fight, Cena said, "As far as WrestleMania is concerned, whatever I'm supposed to do I'm going to do to the best of my ability."

At next week's WWE Smackdown from Indianapolis, Cena and Nikki will team up for the first time as they face Carmella and James Ellsworth. The fight will serve as a warm-up before they face The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania33.

WrestleMania 33 is set to happen on April 2 on Smackdown LIVE.
