'WWE 2K16' Roster to have 120 playable wrestlers – double that of 2K15
"WWE 2K16" is going to be double the fun and excitement of "WWE 2K15" as it has the biggest line up of playable wrestlers in history – 120 of them. Some of the biggest names added are The Rock, The Undertaker, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Batista, Chris Jericho, Edge and Andre the Giant. The "WWE 2K16" roster is almost double that of "WWE 2K15" that had 67 playable wrestlers.
Game Developer Visual Concepts communicated through an Instagram post when queried about the number of playable wrestlers on its roster next year. It confirmed that yes, this year's line-up will have the most number of playable wrestlers ever. Visual Concepts also clarified that the 120 playable wrestlers are the unique players and does not include the different models that some characters have.

"WWE 2K16" has also included The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar's full superstar entrances after their recently concluded 'SummerSlam' rematch.
The WWE 2K16 has Stone Cold Steve Austin on its cover. It will launch on October 27 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. Those who preorder "WWE 2K16" are in for a bonanza. They will receive two playable versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator. These two T-800 models are from the Terminator model of the 1984 original movie and the second model is from Terminator 2: Judgement Day that was released in 1991.
One disappointment is that WWE favourite Hulk Hogan will not be featured in "WWE 2K16" after he made some controversial comments.
2K Sports has also announced the songs in this year's soundtrack, which includes Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", Marilyn Manson's "Deep Six" and "Its Tricky" from Run DMC.
