'WWE 2K17' Hall of Fame Showcase Release Date News: Final DLC for Game Now Available

Fans can at long last purchase the highly anticipated  "Hall of Fame Showcase," the final downloadable content (DLC) pack for the hit wrestling simulation game, "WWE 2K17."

The DLC allows players to recreate some of the classic battles and greatest feuds in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) with the same iconic locations to boot.

Thanks to the "WWE 2K17: Hall of Fame Showcase," fans can now experience for themselves the memorable match at the WCW Saturday Night 1992 between the team-up of Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page against Jimmy Garvin and Michael "PS" Hayes together known as The Fabulous Freebirds.

The WCCW 1986 match-up in which Hayes join forces with Buddy Roberts as The Fabulous Freebirds to take on Kerry and Kevin Von Erich is also included in the "WWE 2K17" DLC.

Two of Sting's most unforgettable matches are also featured in "Hall of Fame Showcase." His fight at the Clash of Champions 1988 in which he donned his trademark gold and black tights as he took on Ric Flair is one.

Wearing his n.W.o. Wolfpac ring gear, he brawled it all out with Bret Hart at the WCW Halloween Havoc 1998. Thanks to the "WWE 2K17" DLC, fans can recreate this battle too.

"Hall of Fame Showcase" will also include the showdown of Ivory and Jacqueline at SmackDown 2000, the Papa Shango vs. The Godfather faceoff at Dream Match, and Big Boss Man facing The Big Show at the Armageddon 1999 with the help of Albert.

The characters included in the "Hall of Fame Showcase" will also be included in other modes of "WWE 2K17" such as Universe and Exhibition.

The DLC will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for $9.99. It is also packaged in the game's $29.99 Season Pass. Watch a preview of the content in the video below.
