WWE Latest News: 'The Undertaker' appears on the Tonight Show; lawsuits from late 90's surface

The Undertaker made the news this week through his appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, while several WWE lawsuits that back to the early 90's have been uncovered.

On Wednesday night, "The Dead Man" made an appearance on the famous talk show. Coincidentally, the Survivor Series pay-per-view and Thanksgiving are happening about the same time, show executives came up with the idea of making the situation work together.

It all began with Fallon reading off a request from a fan to have the Undertaker appear on the show. When the host appeared to be brushing off the idea, the lights in the studio suddenly turns off, and the Undertaker's music begins to play. WWE wrestler Brad Maddox, who was then dressed in a turkey suit, suddenly appeared on the frame.

Meanwhile, several company lawsuits that go as far back as the early 1990's have began to surface once again. In a report by Sean Ross Sapp of WrestlingInc, some versions of the late Nelson Frazier Jr.'s contract (who went by the stage names "Viscera" and "Mabel") was discovered, dating back to 1993 when he was part of the 'Men on a Mission' tag team.

"In addition to this, other court documents show despite the fact that Viscera's widow is suing WWE, WWE says they advanced her $10,000 against future royalties to help prevent her from being evicted from her home,"an excerpt of the report reads.

The report adds that the WWE did release annual payouts to Viscera from 1994-2008, amounting to a total of $1.2 million. Viscera died of a heart attack in 2014. He was 43 years old.
