WWE Monday Night Raw Spoilers Shake Up Things Ahead of 'Payback'

In the last episode before the highly anticipated Pay-Per-View event "WWE Payback" this Sunday, WWE Raw takes over Richmond, Va., with many big names set to enter the ring.

WWE has hinted that some of Monday's potential matchups include another match between Triple H and the newest "Paul Heyman Guy" Curtis Axel. The two were supposed to face off in a rematch on Raw last week; he was eventually prevented from going in the ring by his wife Stephanie McMahon and her father Vince McMahon, after he suffered a storyline concussion.

The Game is also looking for revenge after Axel beat him after a count-out. It would also not be surprising if Triple H, a 13-time champ, ignored McMahon and entered the ring on Monday night.

World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler will be making his return to WWE television. Ziggler was sidelined with a concussion for a month after he was kicked in the face by former top contender Jack Swagger during a Smackdown taping in May.

Ziggler has already been medically cleared to enter the ring and with Ziggler's rivalry with Alberto Del Rio, Raw could serve as the launch pad that would set the stage for Payback on Sunday.

The return of CM Punk is also a highly-anticipated event after the charismatic five-time world champion missed that past two months following his Wrestlemania 29 loss to The Undertaker.

Punk is scheduled to step into the ring with his old rival Chris Jericho for Payback, which should give Punk an advantage given that it will take place in Punk's hometown of Chicago.

Paul Heyman, Punk's handler, played some mind games with Jericho on Smackdown last week and similar antics are anticipated for Raw.

WWE Raw airs at 8 p.m. ET Monday on the USA Network.
