WWE News: John Cena Comeback Latest Updates; WWE RAW ratings continue to drop

One of the World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship shows Monday Night Raw is continuously experiencing a dramatic drop in ratings.

As far back as September, RAW's numbers have begun to plummet. In a report by Mark Lelinwalla of Tech Times, the September 21st episode of Monday Night Raw scored its lowest ratings since 1997.

The report adds that the drop in numbers marked an ironic situation, since the said episode of RAW came the day after a pay-per-view event called "Night of Champions". Tradition has dictated that RAW episodes the day after a pay-per-view event usually rake in high numbers.

After starting off strong with 3.6 million viewers in the first hour, the numbers gradually but constantly dropped to 3.3 million in the second hour and 3.1 million in the third hour. In an early November report by Dave Meltzer for F4Wonline, RAW once again dropped its numbers for its November 2nd, tallying a total of 3.24 million viewers by the end of the night.

This, coming from 3.27 million viewers from the October 12th episode.

The report adds that Cena has also been included in the WWE's Monday Night Raw taping on January 4th in San Antonio, Texas and in their January 15th live event in New Delhi, India.
