WWE News: Kurt Angle Shares Thoughts On The Late Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit; Jim Ross Death Hoax Spreads Online

Former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar and decorated Olympic wrestler Kurt Angle spoke candidly about his experience working with deceased wrestlers Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit. Meanwhile, a death hoax about former WWE announcer Jim Ross began circulating online.

The 46-year old Angle is currently signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling but had already announced that he will be on a retirement tour in the United Kingdom. In an interview with WrestleTalk TV, Angle first talked about how it was working with the late Eddie Guerrero.

The Mexican-American professional wrestler died in November 2005 of acute heart failure. According to Angle, when he was wrestling with Guerrero in the early 2000's, the latter was already in a bad shape. Angle adds that some of his ailments were caused by previous car accidents.

"This is hard for me to say because my matches with Eddie were so memorable," Angle said in the interview. "By the time I wrestled Eddie, his body was so beyond shot, he was so banged up. I can't imagine how good our matches would have been if he were healthy."

Angle also touched on how it was when he was working with another late wrestler Chris Benoit. The former WWE World heavyweight champion was found dead in 2007 in his home in Fayetteville, Georgia, next to that of his wife Nancy and seven-year old son Daniel.

According to Angle, despite Benoit's reserved personality, they were able to get along as co-workers.

"Chris was very shallow with me, but we got along really well," Angle said. "The reason why I don't rate Chris up there with Shawn [Michaels] is because it seems like whoever the powers that be kind of erased him from everybody's mind."

Meanwhile, a death hoax involving former WWE commentator Jim Ross circulated online this week. According to a report by Nick Paglino of WrestleZone, Ross' Twitter account was hacked and a link was posted claiming it was a family statement, saying he had already passed away.

Ross did offer a short but concise response.

"I'm healthy, but not happy," Ross wrote.
