WWE Rumors: AJ Styles-Shinsuke Nakamura Dream Match to Take Place at 'WrestleMania'?

New report claims that the Styles-Nakamura match is tentatively set for next year's big event

AJ Styles has clearly distinguished himself as one of the biggest stars in the WWE today, a man capable of bringing out the best in any competitor pitted against him.

A number of wrestling fans want to see the WWE do right by Styles by treating him like the big draw he is, which is why many of them want to see him become one of the headliners of next year's "WrestleMania."

Barring any injury, Styles is likely going to be a part of that event, but a new report is hinting that he may not be given the spot many fans would want him to have.

The folks from Dirty Sheets claimed to have gotten their hands on the tentative card for "WrestleMania 34," and apparently, one of the matches that will take place during that event will feature Styles going up against Shinsuke Nakamura.

For a long time, Styles and Nakamura were the two brightest stars outside of the WWE, managing to gain fans all over the world despite not having the industry's biggest stage available to them.

A Styles-Nakamura "WrestleMania" match would represent a fantasy fulfilled for many wrestling die-hards, but there is just one little detail that may make the bout feel a little less special.

According to Dirty Sheets, the Styles-Nakamura bout will not be for the WWE title and the two of them are also expected to enter into that feud after failing to dethrone current champ Jinder Mahal.

In a way, just letting Styles and Nakamura go at it with no title involved is almost a compliment to both of them since it suggests that the folks at the WWE are confident that they can put on a compelling match even if there is nothing really on the line.

On the other hand, Styles and Nakamura are widely regarded to be among the best wrestlers in the company, so giving them second billing to Mahal could be seen as a slight.

With months still remaining before "WrestleMania 34" takes place, fans will definitely be watching what the folks at WWE decide to do next with Styles and Nakamura, and many of them will likely be hoping that they are among the headliners.

More news about the latest WWE rumors should be made available soon.
