Bret Hart Blames Seth Rollins and WWE Producers for Finn Balor's Injury
WWE's supposed megabucks header crashes after Finn Balor injures his shoulder, resulting to a surgery. Balor needs to sit out the next six months because of the in-ring accident during a match against Seth Rollins.
Finn Balor storyline, a gold mine that ran dry
Rumors has it that the Universal Championship belt is supposed to be a gold mine for good storylines. But now everything went down when Finn Balor relinquished the championship title after a nasty dislocated shoulder. For the meantime, entertainment wrestling fans can relish in these storylines that are not going to happen anymore.
Following SummerSlam, the next big draw is the Clash of Champions in September 25. Balor is to put his belt on the line against Kevin Owens in a pay-per-view treat. According to Wrestlezone, the story will then zigzag to superstar Chris Jericho for the Triple Threat match. The three biggest names will then rumble for the belt in another PPV in October, the Hell in a Cell.
Monday Night Raw to save the plot
The biggest question now is who will be the next champion. There are few changes on Monday Night Raw including Owens in the fight roster. Then Big Cass and Roman Reigns will step in to fill the void.
There is also a rumor that Jericho might miss the chance on Monday because of undisclosed reason. However, WWE has no choice but to push him inside the ring. Jericho can be a good turn on the plot because he is a good friend of Owens.
Meaning, they can join forces to smash Roman Reigns. Jericho out to avenge his recent loss to Reigns is another good twist. The only one left in the tussle is Big Cass but fans have to sleep a few more days to wonder where he will fit.
Bret Hart tirades against Seth Rollins
Bret Hart is clearly blaming Rollins for Balor's injury. The Hall of Famer airs repeatedly his observations before that Rollins is injuring himself and other superstars a lot. He also calls on WWE to take precautions.
Bret Hart also lambasts the producers of the show by reminding them that WWE is not real. Superstars are only supposed to "look real" so ring maneuvers have to be taken with safety precautions. Hart also points to an instance when Rollins broke John Cena's nose as a precedent. Then he capped by saying that Balor accident could have been averted if WWE talked to Rollins against getting too excited at times.
