Xbox One Backward Compatibility Update: 'Dead Rising 2: Case Zero' and Three Other Titles Included
Larry Hryb of Xbox has just announced that four more titles will be added to the Xbox One backward compatibility program and one of them is "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero." This is good news for fans who have been waiting for new games to be added to the lineup.
According to Heavy, the prequel to "Dead Rising 2," "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero," is a game that features a zombie outbreak in Still Creek. Fans who love zombie apocalypse titles will surely enjoy this new game in the backward compatibility program.
Another game that will be added to the list is "Dead Rising 2: Case West." In this previously Xbox-360 exclusive game, fans will see the alliance of Frank West and Chuck Green. The characters will be played inside a setting that looks like a factory.
Fans will also get to experience the fun in "Meet the Robinsons." The gameplay features Wilbur as he embarks on a time-travel journey on his own. His dad will warn him not to touch the time machine but Wilbur's curious side kicks in.
Finally, there's "Cars 2: The Video Game," in which fans will be racing alongside some of the most popular vehicles featured in the movie edition. The game was first released on various gaming platforms back in June 2011.
According to GameSpot, players who already own the games digitally on Xbox 360 will see the titles in their libraries automatically. If they're not preowned, the games can be purchased. "Cars 2" is priced at $20, "Case West" at $10, "Case Zero" at $5 and "Meet the Robinsons" at $20.
Xbox has yet to announce if there will be other games to be included in the Xbox backward compatibility program this month. It remains to be seen when "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" will be added to the list as it is one of the most anticipated additions. Get the full list of games in the library here.
