Xbox Games with Gold September 2016 Announcement Next Week
Microsoft will be making its announcement next week for the month Xbox Games with Gold for September 2016.
There will be four titles that will be revealed for the Xbox Games with Gold September 2016 lineup. While it is not unusual for rumors to surface regarding the possible titles, Microsoft has taken it up by themselves to reveal one game that will be included in the lineup.
Xbox Games with Gold September 2016 Lineup
Express reports that Larry Hyrb of Xbox has confirmed that "Earthlock: Festival of Magic" will be included in the Games with Gold September 2016 lineup. The game along with the other 3 that are set to be revealed this week will be available for Xbox Gold gamers on September 1 for Xbox One and Steam.
"Earthlock: Festival of Magic" is a role-playing game developed by Norwegian company called Snowcastle Games. It is also available for the PS4, Wii U, OS X, Windows PC and Linux. Players will need to save the planet and find out the secrets of the mystery that has launched their land into perpetual darkness. In this game, players will be able to harvest, learn skills and craft to be able to defeat various enemies that are in the game.
According to Game Spot, the current games that are free in the Games for Gold August 2016 lineup unclude "WWE 2K16" which will only be available on until Sep. 15, "Warriors Orochi" which will only be available until Aug. 31 and "Beyond Good & EVil HD" for Xbox 360 which is only offered until Aug. 31.
Microsoft Adds New Titles with Xbox Backwards Compatibility
There are currently more than 200 Xbox 360 titles that are playable in the Xbox One since Microsoft announced the project in May. Morning News USA reports that the latest game added is "Bomberman Live." The game is a classic and was released in the Xbox Live Arcade in 2010.
Other Xbox 360 titles with Xbox One compatibility that have been added, according to the official website include "Bomberman Battlefest," "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon," "Mr. DRILLER Online," "Triggerheart Exelica," "NEW RALLY-X," "Syberia," "CRYSTAL DEFENDERS" and more. It also has some fan-favorites like "Red Dead Redemption," "Fallout: New Vegas," "Halo Wars," "Left 4 Dead 2, " "Fallout 3," "Gears of War 3" and many more.
