Xbox One Holiday Deals: Console Bundles at $50 Off; Price Slash on More Than 200 Games
Microsoft has a couple of deals set up for the holidays. Citing an "amazing response" from gamers during its Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, the Xbox One maker is once again discounting the console, along with digital games, throughout this month until the New Year.

For a limited time, Microsoft is offering its Xbox One console bundles at a discount for all gamers in the United States. Interested buyers can now avail of these bundles for $50 less, starting at $299.

"We're grateful for the passion that Xbox gamers have shown this year, and we remain committed to making Xbox the best place to play this holiday, in 2016, and beyond," Microsoft said in a statement.
Here are some of the Xbox One console bundles included in the deal.
Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle is now available at $449 (from $499). It comes with a 1 TB Xbox One console that's dressed up with metallic blue accents and military insignias, "Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition" inside a Spartan-themed SteelBook case, and a 14-day trial for Xbox Live Gold. It also includes exclusive freebies like Warzone REQ Bundle, a Metal Earth Guardian model, Spartan Locke's Classified Orders, Halo: The Fall of Reach, FOTUS-class armor, and a multiplayer emblem.
Xbox One Elite Bundle is now $449 (from $499). It includes a 1 TB solid state hybrid console, which loads 20 percent faster on energy-saving mode, an Xbox One carrying case, and a 14-day trial for Xbox Live Gold.
Xbox One 1 TB Holiday Bundle is now $349 (from $399). This bundle contains a 1 TB console, "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," "Ori and the Blind Forest," and "Rare Replay."
Microsoft's Xbox One console bundle deals started on Wednesday, Dec. 9. The $50 discount on these and other bundles is valid until Saturday, Dec. 26, or until supplies last.
Countdown digital games sale
Microsoft will also run what it calls "the biggest digital game sale of the year for the Xbox Store." This is the Countdown sale, where more than 200 deals are lined up for customers daily and weekly. Regular customers will receive 40 to 60 percent off, while Gold members will save 50 to 70 percent. The Countdown sale will start on Dec. 22 and end on Jan. 7.
