Xbox One Leaks: Broken Street Date Purchase Shows Unboxing Video

It appears an Xbox One street date has been broken when a Youtube user posted an unboxing video of the console on his channel.

An unknown and seemingly random kid got his hands on the console over a month early and really offered no explanation as of how.

"I got it today because of reasons," he said in the video.

Everything appears to be legit in the video from the controller to the cable.

Geek.com suggests that maybe the video is a clever marketing ploy for Microsoft to get people buzzing about the console, but that has not been confirmed.

Also, the original video has been taken down as Microsoft is likely looking into this unboxing.

Some commenters online have noted the box for the console seems off, suggesting this may be a fake.

On the actual Xbox One front, Microsoft announced that their Day One Edition of the console will now arrive on time after previous reports indicated else-wise.

"All Day One pre-orders will be fulfilled as planned at launch," a spokesperson for the company told GottaBeMobile.com.

Commenters on various sites have said their Day One shipment will arrive on Nov. 30, which completely defeats the purpose of the "Day One" tag, as the console will be arriving on Nov. 22.

Retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart have also been under the impression that delays are in play.

The Day One edition and standard edition console are officially sold out everywhere, and some reports said the standard edition may not be ready until December.

States Chronicle reported on rumors that the second batch of consoles may not be ready until Dec. 31.

The Day One edition will include the Kinect sensor, chat headset, HDMI cable, Xbox One controller with a special monogram, and a special Day One achievement on the Xbox One itself for $499.

The standard console will include all of that minus the monogram and achievement for the same price.
