Xbox One Sales Break Records, Users Have Spent Over 50 Million Hours Playing
Xbox One is setting records with the amount of consoles they are selling, stated Microsoft.
"Demand is far exceeding supply in the 13 countries we've launched and we are sold out at retailers around the world," said Yusuf Mehdi, vice president of strategy and marketing for Xbox in a statement.
According to Microsoft, Xbox One users have already spend over 50 million hours playing the new console. Their decision to cut back the launch day countries to 13 instead of 21 paid off in there being more Xbox One consoles to go around instead of facing system shortages like in previous generations.

The Chicago Tribune reports that each console factory most likely has the capacity to produce up to a million consoles a month.
Two weeks ago Microsoft announced that the Xbox One sold over one million consoles globally in its first 24 hours following its launch, matching the PlayStation 4's first day totals.
"We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world," said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing and strategy at Xbox, in a released statement. "Seeing thousands of excited fans lined up to get their Xbox One and their love for gaming was truly a special moment for everyone on the Xbox team. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season."
Part the Xbox One's success is their strong launch titles which included Dead Rising 3, The Fighter Within, Crimson Dragon, Forza Motorsport 5, Killer Instinct, LocoCycle, Powerstar Golf, Ryse: Son of Rome, Zoo Tycoon, and Zumba Fitness World Party.
Xbox One was released in North America, Australia, and parts of South America and Europe on November 22. The console is sold out in most places Microsoft said as they work to refill stocks.
