Xbox One X News: The Console Will Support 1440p Right Out of The Box
Considering the current growth of the gaming community, tech giants seem to be determined to capture their attention as it has become one of the largest markets in the world. In order to do so, Microsoft has worked hard to produce the world's most powerful console, which will come in the form of the Xbox One X. Considering that its release is on the horizon, fans are interested to know if it is really worth the price tag. Microsoft's Kevin Gammill and the UK chief Harvey Eagle has a few words of enticement.
First, Gammill has confirmed that the Xbox One X will have support for 1440p monitors right out of the box. Considering that it has been heavily marketed as a console that is capable of 4K, fans assumed that the resolution would only be on 1080p. However, Gammill took to social media to rectify the situation. This revelation should be a big plus for the hardcore and professional gamers, and to those who own any high-end gaming monitors. Meanwhile, for those who doubt its capability, it seems that the Xbox One X has garnered a lot of attention, as told by Eagle.
"The Scorpio edition sold out in record time," UK boss Harvey Eagle told GamesIndustry.biz. "It was the fastest pre-order of an Xbox that we've ever had. I can't guarantee that stock will be available in launch week for people to just walk into a store and pick up. Demand is really high. I'd just encourage people if they want one at launch, to get moving. What I can say is that we will have new stock deliveries into retail each week as we get through to Christmas."
Aside from the gamers, developers are also looking forward to the release of the Xbox One X, as this presents a whole new market wherein framerate, as well as resolution can be the highlight of titles.
The Xbox One X is scheduled to release on Nov. 7.
