'Xenoblade Chronicles 2' News: Devs Reveal More About Shin and Metsu, the Higher-Ups of the Torna Organization
Shin and Metsu were designed by 'Kingdom Hearts 3' and 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' director Tetsuya Nomura
Thus far, the developers of "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" have already introduced some of the upcoming game's main characters, Rare Blades and even some of the countries and organizations that will be featured.
More recently, the developers shared a little bit more about two characters who will likely oppose players in the game.
The two characters in question are Shin and Metsu, and they are members of the secretive Torna Organization.
Fans who have been following the development of the game have likely caught glimpses of Shin and Metsu.
Beginning with Shin, this is the character who has been shown wearing some kind of mask. Despite his peculiar choice of headwear, he is apparently an important character in the game, as he is the commander of the Torna Organization, DualShockers reported.
Shin is reserved but determined, and he also appears to be holding on to some kind of important secret. He also looks to be a formidable warrior, someone who protagonist Rex and his friends may have trouble dealing with inside "Xenoblade Chronicles 2."
The other character who fans should know more about is Metsu, the man second in command of the Torna Organization.
Metsu is a gruff-looking individual, and he does not have the best kind of attitude either. Similar to Shin, he can more than hold his own in battle and also happens to be an exceptional Driver.
The Torna Organization is also expected to be after the Blade known as Pyra, which means Rex and his friends will likely be running into them more than a few times.
One more thing worth knowing about Shin and Metsu is that they were both designed by Tetsuya Nomura, and if that name sounds familiar, that is because he is the same man currently directing both "Kingdom Hearts 3" and the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake."
"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on Dec. 1.
