The Xiaomi Mi 4i packs a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 441ppi. Other notable specs include a 2GB RAM, an octa-core CPU (four cores running at 1.1GHz, and four clocked at 1.7GHz), a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 chipset, and 16GB of built-in memory.

The Android device also boasts a 13MP primary camera that is accompanied by a CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone flash similar to that of the iPhones' cameras, while a 5MP front shooter takes care of selfies and video calls. It also has a 80 degree wide angle sensor, and f/1.8 aperture, which is great for taking selfies even in low light conditions.

In addition, the Mi 4i sports some of the usual features including Bluetooth 4.1, dual-SIM capabilities that can support dual 3G or 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box skinned by Xiaomi's MIUI 6. The phone is powered by a 3,120mAh battery that can reportedly be fully charged in three hours.

Announced earlier this year, the Mi 4i was aimed at the international market that did not get the chance to buy the Mi4 last year, as well as some of the more powerful Xiaomi phones that were launched in January. However, based on rumors, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 flagship should make its way to markets outside of China right away after launch.
