Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6 Leak Reveals Devices Will Get Respective Exclusive Features

The full list of specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 6 and the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus have been leaked, fleshing out the China-based tech firm's upcoming flagships before they could even come out.

The standard version will sport a 5.15-inch display while its older sibling will boast a bigger 5.5-inch display, both with full high-definition (HD) screen resolution.

The leak claims that the Xiaomi Mi 6 duo will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, seemingly debunking rumors that the flagships will get the last-generation Snapdragon 821 chipset.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with 4 GB random-access memory (RAM) with 32 GB and 64 GB options for storage space while the Plus version is getting 6 GB RAM with 64 GB and 128 GB storage configurations.

It is unclear if there will be a microSD card for storage expansion purposes, but GSM Arena claims that there will be none, which might turn off some users.

While both are getting 8 MP ultrapixel selfie snapper, the standard-sized version of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will pair that up with a 19 MP rear-facing camera, the sensor of which appear to be the new Sony IMX400.

As for the bigger version, it is getting a smaller one at 12 MP. It is, however, listed to have a dual camera setup with the Sony IMX362 as its sensors.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 is reportedly getting a 3,200 mAh battery while its Plus brother is getting a much bigger 45,000 mAh battery pack, appropriate for its beastly size. Both can be juiced up easily with fast charging technology.

Interestingly, the leak shows that the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will be launched with Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled while the regular-sized iteration will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

There is no word on the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus just yet. However, users can expect to learn more as the purported launch next month is not that far away.
