'Z Nation' season 2 episode 2 plot news: More on Murphy and Pie Girl
With the return of the highly anticipated Syfy series "Z Nation," teasers for season 2's second episode have been released.
The premiere episode of "Z Nation" continued the suspenseful events that took place in the first season's finale. It ended with Murphy, played by Keith Allan, running away, which served as a problem as he was the final hope for a cure. With that, the group found themselves in trouble with nuclear missiles. It ended with Doc, played by Russell Hodgkinson, wounded, while Warren, played by Kellita Smith, and 10K, played by Nat Zang, in an unfortunate position.
On the other hand, Citizen Z also had problems of his own. While the missiles heading his outpost were intercepted by a plane, the soldiers in the plane turned into zombies after crashing. With that, Citizen Z is expected to defeat them all on by himself. He does his best to keep safe in his hideout, while at the same time planning for his death. He sent out his final message to the survivors and reveals the importance of Murphy. Citizen Z explained that if they find him, he is to be taken to Center for Disease Control and Prevention site in California. He also said that whoever brings Murphy back will receive a reward from the government, perhaps the possibility to be cured first once it has been developed.
As for Murphy, he has now taken over Cassandra's mind and is sharing to her what he is capable to do with the zombies. He was able to train her into an assassin at the finale of season 1.
As for the second season, the promo was already revealed. It was stated that it will focus on the story lines of Pie Girl and Murphy. Executive producer Karl Schaefer told EnStars some details to look forward to for the season. He said, "Well, you know, [Murphy] and Pie Girl had some fun last season and we'll see the ramifications of that and the complications that brings. There's a couple of great episodes coming up where we'll see what happens with the result of the tryst Murphy had with Pie Girl."
