Zara Phillips and Husband Reveal Daughter's Name
Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall have finally revealed the name of their daughter: Mia Grace. The royal couple waited at least one week before releasing Mia's name to the public.
Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne but does not have a royal title because Princess Anne chose not to extend the royal status to her children. Zara is, however, in line for the throne but quite a ways after her cousins, Princes William, Harry, and now baby George. Mia is officially 16th in line to the throne and is Queen Elizabeth II's fourth great-grandchild.
Zara was very active throughout her pregnancy, riding horses up until her final month of pregnancy. The professional equestrian and a silver-medal winner at the Olympics. She gave birth to daughter Mia, her first child, at the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with Mike by her side. Zara only spent six hours in the hospital after giving birth and the couple chose not to learn the sex of the baby before it was born.

"For everyone who has asked what our daughters [sic] name, it's Mia Grace Tindall," Mike tweeted to his followers. "Thanks so much for all your kind messages. Definitely the best day of my life today, so happy! The girls are both doing great!" he tweeted when Mia was born. "Big thanks to all involved at Gloucester Royal, they were fantastic!" Mike added.
Now the family will have to decide who will be Mia's godparents. William and Harry are both viable options, as Zara is already close to her cousins and was asked to be Prince George's godmother. It will be an important day for the family, though it will certainly not receive the fanfare that Prince George received.
Zara has said she plans to return to riding as soon as physically possible after Mia's birth. Mike is a rugby star who will likely go back to his sport whenever he can. For now, though, his Twitter feed is full of new-father "firsts" such as "changing a nappy one-handed."
