ZTE Nubia Z9 Specs, Release Date: Z9 Flagship, Z9 Mini Hitting More Markets Outside Of India
Announced several weeks ago, the ZTE Nubia Z9 is definitely one of the most powerful handsets in the market today. But instead of going to the China-only path, the Chinese manufacturer has released the device in other countries as well.
One of those is the second largest mobile market in the world – India.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the Nubia Z9 will soon be headed to the Indian subcontinent, and hopefully it would make the impact that ZTE expects it to have.
However, even before the Nubia Z9 officially hits the Asian market, ZTE has reportedly unleashed the smaller Z9 mini device.
In the report, the ZTE Nubia Z9 mini boasts a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, Snapdragon 615 SoC chipset that supports 64-bit applications, 2GB of RAM and an octa-core CPU.
Other specs include a 16MP primary camera, a high-resolution 8MP selfie shooter, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. The device will reportedly hit stores running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.
In the report, the Z9 Mini costs around $241 in China, which means a price tag of about INR 16,000 is certainly possible.
Meanwhile, the ZTE Nubia Z9 flagship packs a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution, either a 3GB or 4GB RAM, with either 32GB or 64GB of built-in memory.
The camera department has the same 16MP primary camera and 8MP front shooter.
