ZTE's Nubia Z11 Specs, Features News: Renders Leaked
Chinese device manufacturer ZTE does not want to be outdone by other Chinese companies in the industry and it has come out with a slew of new smartphones in 2015. If rumors are true, it may already be working on its latest device which is rumored to be unveiled in early 2016.
According to some reports, renders of the Nubia Z11 have been leaked through a Chinese publication and it shows the device as one that is bezel-less.
The source of the leak is Chinese publication CNBeta, and it featured images of the phone that appeared not to have any side-bezels. Instead of having curved edges like the Samsung Edge, its screen is rumored to be extended to the sides which allows for additional swipe functionality. In order to hide the phone's edges, it is said that the new device will make use of Refractive Conduction (aRC) technology.
If the images are indeed of the Nubia Z11, aside from the bezel-less screen, it may also sport a fingerprint scanner that is located at the back of the phone, just under the LED flash.
In terms of specs, the Nubia Z11 is rumored to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, with an Adreno 530 graphics chip and a whopping 4 GB of RAM. Most of the rumored flagships of other brands such as Samsung will be making use of the new Snapdragon processor as well in their 2016 offerings.
The Nubia Z11, according to another report in Android Authority, will have a 5.2-inch display that has a 2,560 x 1,444 pixels resolution. In terms of internal storage, it will come with 128 GB of in-house storage. There is no information available on whether the Z11 will provide microSD support for expandable but it is hoped that this will be added as the Nubia Z9 did not have this feature.
Camera-wise, the phone will have a 20.7 megapixel main camera with a dual-tone LED flash, while its front-facing camera will be a 13 megapixel shooter.
The phone is rumored to run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The device's release date and price are not yet known, but the report speculates that it will be priced the same way as the Nubia Z9.
