Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy joined a discussion at Passion City Church in Atlanta, where he called on white Americans to repent and not to be silent on the issue of racial injustice.
“It has to hurt us. And we as Caucasians until we’re willing to just pick up the baton and fight for our black, African American brothers and sisters, which they are as one human race, we’re shameful,” he said.
The discussion, which also involved Christian rapper Lecrae Moore and Pastor Louie Giglio, took place in June amid nationwide protests over the police killings of black Americans like George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks.
