Movieguide, which rates shows and films based on a biblical perspective, said in its review that Disney’s "Snow White" remake features “a strong moral, redemptive, conservative worldview with Christian allusions.”

The review acknowledged the criticism of Zegler’s comments and how some fans were upset that Disney removed the “Someday My Prince Will Come" song in favor of pushing a modern feminist message.

However, Movieguide noted that Snow White’s desire to serve as a leader comes from her father, the “Good King.” In addition, the remake still includes the “true love’s kiss” from the original.

Snow White’s character in the new movie also emulates Jesus, according to the Christian review site, which highlighted how the princess serves as a representative of her father and comes back from the dead.

“Also, like a good Christian, she doesn’t use violence but confronts the Evil Queen in a manner that is ‘fearless, fair, brave, and true.’” the review stated.
