5 Christian artists releasing new music in 2019
Passion, Follow You Anywhere (January 4)
Passion — band made up of Kristian Stanfill, Brett Younker and Melodie Malone — released its Follow You Anywhere album during the sold-out Passion 2019 conference at the top of the new year.
The 10-track album features collaborations with Crowder and Sean Curran. The 40,000 young adults who gathered in Atlanta, Dallas and Washington, D.C. for the conference were among the first to hear the new collection. Follow You Anywhere was the first time the band recorded an album at the conference's home base, Passion City Church in Atlanta.
“So much hard work and heart went into writing these songs over the last year,” Stanfill said in a statement shared with The Christian Post. “Our band, the songwriters, our design team and our sixstepsrecords/Capitol CMG team all leaned in together to make this album what it is. To now lead these songs at Passion 2019 and see a real love and devotion to Jesus come to life in these students is a beautiful thing. It’s why we do this. It’s why we write these songs. We believe that God is calling us to join him in the story he is telling in this moment and in this generation.”
Follow You Anywhere is now available online. A physical release of the album will hit shelves on Feb. 1. For more information, click here.
