5 New Apple Products: TV, Radio, and iPhone5S (VIDEO)
Apple will introduce five new products in the coming year, according to analyst. But that may count as a slow year, for the company, who is planning an even bigger year in 2014.
Top 5 to Look for in 2013
Radio
Apple is expected to debut a new, free radio station that will likely run via iTunes. Building revenue from ads, the radio is intended to compete with products like Pandora and Spotify.
In December, CNET suggested that plans for iRadio could be far off and "a deal with all the majors is nowhere near to being completed."
iPad Mini with Retina Display
The new iPad mini may have already been shipped, according to a Digitimes report. The mini with a retina display will likely see a debut sometime in March, the same month in which previous iPads were introduced.
While fuss of the new iPhone 5 is barely dying down, rumor has it that Apple has plans to introduce a new iOS 7. The prompt new software upgrade could be a response to complaints about changes made to iPhone5 and the lack of function within Apple maps. The update as usual, would be available to all iPhone users but the new iPhone 5s won't look much different according to CNN Money.
And before the new year is over, if having an iPhone, and iPad, an iPod, and an iMac (ok ok Mac Book) is not enough for apple fans, then how about an iTV? The Apple TV "will measure 42" to 55" and cost between $1500 and $2000" according to CNN. Way too expensive? Unlikely, according to Forbes, who predicts that the Apple TV could have "big potential." Imagine Siri as a remote and movies shared across devices.
Exciting? Not enough, perhaps. Analysts have said, according to Fortune magazine, that 2014 will be even bigger.
