5 Photos of '2 Million Bikers to D.C.' That Show American Pride
"2 million bikers are coming to D.C." and no, there is no Harley convention in town. What could possibly bring that many (actually the name is slightly exaggerated ... there are about 880,000 bikers, but still, that's a whole lot) bikers to the crowded, confusing, and restricted roads of downtown Washington, D.C.? September 11th.
The "Two Million Bikers to D.C." have said on their Facebook page that their demonstration is aimed at standing by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and have said that they are "against any fundamental transformation of America."
"It's very important and it's from all ethnical backgrounds, all religions – it's just, we're all Americans and we need to support our country the best we can," said Nicholas Montefusco from Huntersville, Pa., one of the bikers participating in the ride, who said that Americans should never forget the significance of Sept. 11.
