64GB MicroSD High Speed Cards Announced by Samsung at IFA
Samsung announced that it will be releasing new high-speed SD, and microSD cards that can hold up to 64GB at this year's IFA.
There will be several versions of the cards available including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models. They also pack 80MB/40MB per second on the SD version, and 70MB/20MB per second on the microSD version.
The cards will be released in the middle of October.

Samsung has also come under fire this week as Apple has set out to ban many of its popular, but older devices. After losing a vicious patent infringement battle in court this month, the company might be forced to take many of its popular handsets off the shelves. However, the Galaxy S3 appears to be safe so far.
Devices that will be banned by Apple include the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, the Galaxy S2 on three of the major carriers in the U.S., the LTE variant of the device known as the Skyrocket, the Galaxy S Showcase, the Droid Charge, and the Galaxy Prevail.
Apple also hopes to ban the Galaxy Tab 10.1, a device that was not directly affected by the trial's verdict.
"While the cellular version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was not included in the verdict form, it is not colorably different from the products that the jury found to be infringing as to some Apple utility patents, and thus should be covered by an injunction against sales of products that infringe those patents," said Apple in the filing for the ban.
The patent trial for the two companies ended quite badly for Samsung, as the company now has to pay Apple more than $1 billion for infringing six mobile device patents and will have some of their most popular handsets and tablets banned.
