Some of its features include a 7 inch touch screen display, 256MB of memory, a battery that can last up to 5 hours and an 802. 11b/g Wireless LAN.

The Cruz weighs around 2 pounds and runs on Android OS.

Customers reviewing the tablet on Newegg describe the device as a “cheap way to feel your way around Android.”

Another Customer wrote it is “not really an android. There is no Android Market. The app market for the tablet is weak.”

Any techie interested in purchasing this tablet could see that aside from a low sticker price, it might not be a great buy.

Another customer complained over the fact that the tablet's system could not be upgraded to Android 2.2.

And Newegg’s $69 dollar fire sale on the Velocity Cruz Android Tablet only lasted 24 hours and now the device is selling back at its original price on the site for $129.99.

Gadget fiends seeking an impressive cheap tablet may want to hold out for the 16GB HP TouchPad or shell out the extra cash for it on Amazon.com.

The company has stated that more units would be in stock in the near future.
