Adele Forced to Quit Singing for 2011 Due to Hemorrhage
Adele has been forced to cancel her U.K. tour due to a hemorrhage on her vocal cord.
The announcement comes just weeks after the British soul singer announced that she would have to cancel her U.S. tour. The singer’s representatives have now reported that the singer will be forced to cancel her remaining appearances scheduled for 2011.
Adele’s record label, Columbia Records, released an official statement concerning the singer’s appearances and tour dates.

“It is with deep regret that Adele has been forced to cancel her remaining live dates and promotional appearances in 2011,” the statement said.
The statement spoke about a surgery that the singer would have to undergo to recover.
“She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat and a full recovery is expected,” the statement read. “As a result, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments.”
Before the issue with her vocal cords, Adele’s album “21” sold over 3 million copies. The British singer also broke records as the first female artist to have two singles and two albums in the U.K. top positions at the same time.
The singer has gained fans across the world.

Acclaimed singer Beyonce also admitted to being a fan of the singer. Adele told Rolling Stone that the mother to be gave her kind words.
“You’re amazing,” Beyonce told Adele. “When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God.”
