Amanda Bynes Receives Stern Warning From Judge

Amanda Bynes was warned by a judge to straighten up her behavior regarding her driving, or else face the consequences- a hefty fine and possibly jail time. Bynes' recent odd behavior hasn't helped the way she is viewed by the public, however.

Amanda Bynes appeared before Judge Elden Fox Wednesday to find out whether or not a $50,000 bail would be imposed because of her Aug. 4 hit-and-run. Prosecutors wanted the Hollywood actress to be charged because she was a risk to the public. Bynes hasn't helped this perception, as she's had two hit-and-run accidents, driving with a suspended license, driving while on her cell phone, and other incidents.

However, Judge Fox ruled in the "What I Like About You" star's favor anyway.

"Technically, Ms. Bynes is not in violation of [an] order not to drive without a valid driver's license," as the incident took place before the order was issued, Fox explained. Still, the merciful judgment came with a warning: if Bynes is caught again, a much higher fine than $50,000 would be issued.

Despite the actress' claims that she is doing "amazing," her odd actions at Equinox gym Tuesday say differently. Bynes attended a spin class, but wandered around during to find a new bike, and later removed her top, although she didn't have a sports bra underneath.

After those disruptions, she again interrupted the class to reapply her makeup. The instructor had enough, and told her to leave, according to TMZ.

Her legal woes, car accidents and odd behavior don't seem to affect Bynes, though. She recently spoke out about her future plans, reminding the public that she does not drink.

"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line," she revealed to People magazine. "I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."

Bynes will head to court Oct. 29 to face the DUI and hit-and-run charges.
